As usual, there is a lot going on at the shop, in my personal life, with my customers...
The Fair was this week and I hope there were oodles of entries I will be hearing about in the next few weeks. As I get the info, I will share it, hopefully with pics! Anyone who entered and won a ribbon at the fair, please let me know, and if possible bring it to the shop to have a picture taken to put in the blog. So far I know that Barb and I won a bunch of Blues and Reds (1st and 2nd place). And I also know that Carolyn Hanks was the "Grand Pooba" of us all!!! She won a ribbon of Merit that I think puts her in the State Fair! Congratulations!!!!
It has been requested that the Panel Challenge be postponed until March. So for all of you who have been working on your entries, you now have until March to reach perfection!!!!
On October 1st, regular store hours will resume. Monday - Friday 10 - 6 and Saturday 10 - 4.
As of today, the task of collecting all the info for, and sending out the newsletter is in the capable hands of Vicky Walser! She has been the organizing force, prodding Barb and I to stay on task for a long time now any way, so now she has the job of getting us to turn in all of our newsletter info on time. Good Luck Vicky! I hope you don't regret your decision any time soon.
Roger is recovering nicely from his surgery. His "outpatient surgery" turned into a one night stay because of some problems with the anesthesia. And though this week he has had some ups and downs, I think he is on the mend. Now, if anyone knows where I can rent a straight jacket to keep him from over-doing now that he is feeling better, please let me know! LOL! Seriously, Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. They were greatly appreciated.
That's all I can think of for now. I've got to get busy posting another game real soon! Anyone have any suggestions?
Hope to see you soon!
